As project volume increased, tracking approvals and deadlines became difficult, leading to bottlenecks and missed handoffs. To create more structure and accountability, I introduced Basecamp as a centralized project management system for the department.
I organized projects into clear workflows, established task ownership, and created standardized processes for submitting work for review and tracking feedback. This ensured leadership had visibility into project status while giving the team a reliable system to manage priorities and timelines.
By introducing a shared coordination tool and consistent processes, the department was able to reduce last-minute scrambles, keep projects moving, and improve overall workflow stability.
